Today I decided to be creative

Today I made a sock bunny and will show you guys how to make one.

Equipment Needed

  1. A sock
  2. Pair of scissors
  3. also need tape ( though not necessary).
  4. A ribbon.
  5. A few cups of rice
  6. Black marker pen
  7. String

Steps
  1. Get the sock and fill it half way with the rice using the tape role inside the sock to fill it easier.
  2. Use the string and tie it around the top of the rice.
  3. Fill it half way up the rest of the sock leaving space to make the ears
  4. Make 2 cuts down each side of the sock and tie each side together very tight so no rice comes out, the 2 ends of the sock will make the ears.
  5. Use a ribbon or a nice necklace to put around the neck of the bunny.
  6. Finally add a face onto the bunny
I will show you a picture of me and the bunny and then a photo of the bunny

Awesome blogpost, Nerys. I like the idea of putting on that color. Is it a stone? That's very creative. It's good that you put in instructions.📝 Next time, maybe you could add the video as well as the instructions.

Thrilling blogpost Nerys! If you want, you could visit my blog at http://wpsraeln.blogspot.com/

  3. Hi Nerys, it's great to see another cute sock bunny! I've seen two other blog posts from Waikowhai kids who have made one also. A family of super Waikowhai sock bunnies! Where did you find the instructions? My daughter makes sock monkies with long arms and legs which you can tie around objects. I wonder what other animals could be made from a sock.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your term two learning. Keep up the great work Nerys.

  5. What a great procedure for people to follow - thanks for the clear and concise instructions Nerys, well done. I particularly like how you have started steps 1-5 with a verb. Have you seen anyone else's posts about sock bunnies? It would be interesting to see how theirs compare to yours. Thanks for the awesome blog - keep it up!
