PORTRAIT

We made portraits put into our, class made out of cardboard so we can draw and paint any ways things we had to do first so we had to get a teacher to take a photo of us then we had to choose which one was the one that did not look good then the other side of the picture, draw the picture in your art book then we had to color in it. When we finished we had to tell the teacher, to say that we had finished then we get the other side of the picture that won, that we liked the most then we get are cardboard then we start doing our patterns  on it. When we finished we had to share with the teachers and say if it is good or not, if they said if it was good we had to finish what we were doing then go onto painting the patterns.  We were talking about painting it in nicely when we had finished, then we had to put the nice piece of paper and glue it in. We had to do the drawings on the other side where the picture was, then when we had fished that we also have to show the teachers what we had done. We had to color that in then we finished, OH ALSO we had to show the teachers THEN WE HAVE FINISHED LOOK AT THE PHOTOS BENEATH THIS!

                   GETTING TO KNOW YOU FORM

Hi guys welcome to my first post of 2020! At the start of the year the senior syndicate started a getting to know you form. on the form, you have to write about ourselves so that people can know about you and we can show our friends about me. In the form we wrote about our family background, things I don't like, things that I am good at. Have a look at the link below to find out more about me!

Pasifika Mamas

That's me on the right hand side

On the Wednesday the 13th of November 2019, we went on the Corban Estate Art Centre  to see the Pasifika Mamas. We had to take our shoes off before we had to go inside. We made leis from fabric flowers, straws and string. We took turns with the drums. There were log drums and skins drums. There was a boys vs girls challenge. We learned a dance. The girls and boys had different actions,.

These are some pictures of us.

Cultural people

These are some cultural people that we painted. On Monday, when we presented them we had to sing our school song to the community beside the the gum tree.  It was a little bit tricky for some parts of the painting because we had to stay in the lines and we made some mistakes. The Burmese boy (second in the top photo) is my favourite. These are all of the photo!
